It provides access to educational services and advice for organisations and people at all stages of their lives. edCentre is organised into six areas to help you find relevant, helpful information more easily. NCEA and Scholarship results
The 2008 NCEA and Scholarship exam period is now over, and results will be available online from mid-afternoon on the 15th of January. To check your results online, visit the Learners section of the NZQA website.
NZ school term and holiday dates
The Ministry of Education provides information on the dates for school terms and holidays from now until 2010. You can link to the full list here.
Find a school on Team-Up
Use the Team-Up website's School Directory function to find information about New Zealand schools - including subjects taught, student profile, student achievement, contact details and a map location for each school.
Teaching in New Zealand - TeachNZ
For the latest information on teaching and teacher education in New Zealand, see the TeachNZ website. TeachNZ provides information for both NZ and overseas teachers and, for those returning to teaching, guidance on getting back into the workforce.
Government web guidelines compliance
The Ministry of Education is currently in the process of redeveloping its existing websites. This process includes ensuring that they comply with the New Zealand Government's Web and Accessibility Guidelines.
